Autumn Leaves Falling

Most of the autumn leaves in upstate New York have already fallen. The bright, wonderful colors that we took for granted last week are now gone.

I regret not taking that drive in the country just to look at them, to enjoy the view, and experience them in all their brilliant colors.

I miss them already.

Last week, we lost an old friend.

BW was as vibrant as the New York landscape on an October day. He was as colorful as any autumn leaf you could ever imagine.

And like an autumn leaf, he has left us, far too soon.
