Started this post a while ago. Never finished it. The momentum may be gone by now, but I just wanted to mention my two favorite people of the week.
The first is one of the people who I have been avoiding for about 6 years... a mentor of sorts, who I have been afraid to meet with. When I finally did, he was warm and excited to see me. He was supportive. It was amazing.
The second is a friend in NYC who has been helping me get through some of the nastiness I am dealing with at home. Sometimes just a friendly ear makes all the difference in the world.
Neither of these people will ever probably see this. But thank you, both, anyway.
