I kind of want to do NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writer's Month, but the 50,000 min for that is kind of impossible, unless I can count my dissertation in that.

Here's my grad school version of the Blues Brothers.
It's 2 months till deadline, we got 2 chapters drafted, half a knowledge of theory, it sucks, and I'm avoiding my advisor.

Good luck with the dissertation. I haven't written one, but I've lived through living with someone who did. Just keep reminding yourself that you will one day be very happy to have it done.
